Only recently discovered in the 1970s, the Korowai Tribe of Papua in Indonesia live in the jungles of West Papua, dwell in treehouses and continue to use stone tools. Since making contact with the western world, the tribe has had to rapidly adapt the way in which they live to the ways of the outside world. Writer and adventurer Will Millard visits with the Korowai people, who have already become used to tourists and documentary film crews, to understand just how much pressure they are facing to conform to modern life.
